This week, PHARA members are joining the EMS Annual Meeting 2026 (EMS2026) in Utrecht from 6 to 11 September under the theme “Delta Climate in Europe: weather, water, and warnings.”

Our vice-coordinator Remko Uijlenhoet is attending several sessions closely aligned with PHARA’s mission, including sessions on methods of observation and on extreme precipitation. Both are highly relevant to his research into the hydrological impact of extreme precipitation and connect directly to PHARA’s own work on phased-array radar.
