{"id":758,"date":"2025-12-09T18:06:00","date_gmt":"2025-12-09T18:06:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/phara.tudelft.nl\/?p=758"},"modified":"2025-12-09T18:06:00","modified_gmt":"2025-12-09T18:06:00","slug":"phara-welcomes-linda-bogerd-to-the-team","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/phara.tudelft.nl\/index.php\/2025\/12\/09\/phara-welcomes-linda-bogerd-to-the-team\/","title":{"rendered":"PHARA Welcomes Linda Bogerd to the Team"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are pleased to welcome <strong>Linda Bogerd<\/strong>, who started on <strong>1 December<\/strong> as a postdoctoral researcher at <strong>TU Delft<\/strong> within the PHARA project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Linda\u2019s research focuses on the retrieval of precipitation estimates, using both satellite data and ground-based measurements. Before joining PHARA, she worked as a postdoctoral researcher in the United States (since October 2024) at <strong>NASA<\/strong> and the <strong>University of Maryland<\/strong>, where she concentrated on improving snowfall measurement techniques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She completed her PhD at <strong>Wageningen University<\/strong> in 2024, carrying out part of the work at <strong>KNMI<\/strong>, with a focus on spaceborne precipitation retrievals from radiometers.
